A quality policy in line with our vision, mission and ambitions
The CSD Group's quality policy aims to implement a consistent internal approach by relying on the existing management system and further developing it. Our management develops common rules and procedures for the whole Group. It establishes the required objectives and standards for each process and implements a policy of continuous improvement of all our activities in order to satisfy the requirements of all stakeholders such as customers, employees, owners, investors, partners, suppliers, public authorities and society. This approach also aims to support the collaboration of all employees in a harmonized manner, regardless of their location. Consequently, CSD disposes of an internationally recognized quality management system covering all requirements.
A commitment to continuous improvement and respect for all stakeholders
The management board of the CSD Group is committed to the following:
- The development of sustainable and viable services and products.
- Continuous improvement as a corporate culture. The achievement of the quality objectives is regularly being reviewed.
- The compliance with laws and regulations governing the company. CSD is committed to respect applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and to inform employees about these.
- To provide the necessary training opportunities for employees to acquire the skills required to perform their duties.
Certified quality and environmental management systems
The CSD Group’s management systems are certified and constantly audited. ProCert audits our ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications.
CSD has been certified since 2004 with the binding ISO 14001 environmental management standard. This forms the basis for developing, implementing, monitoring and further developing environmental management systems. Its overarching objective is to promote environmental protection and prevent pollution in harmony with economic, social and political requirements.
The ISO 9001 quality management standard, which CSD has since 1996, is the most widespread standard applied in quality management. ISO 9001 certification provides the basis for the ongoing improvement process involving the company’s internal quality management system. It sets out the minimum requirements for a quality management system to be applied by the company, in order to fulfil customer requirements and other requirements in terms of product or service quality. The transparency of operational processes and customer satisfaction are also part of this quality concept.
Equal pay for men and women
Since 2018, CSD has a certificate attesting to equal pay for men and women for work of equal value, mentioned in Art. 8 of the Swiss Federal Constitution.
The salary equality procedure « L&M-Aba-24» applied by the certification body is based on the ABAKABA method (Analytical valuation of work activities according to Katz and Baitsch), recommended by the Swiss Federal Office for Gender Equality (FOGE). This tool takes into account the male and female specific characteristics of the activities to an equal extent and thus guarantees a fair wage evaluation for both sexes. The selection of evaluation criteria is based on scientific principles. The « L&M-Aba-24» certification confirms that the company complies with Article 8 of the Swiss Federal Constitution on Equality.
