Every day polluted and unpolluted wastewater is accumulated in our populated areas, which is drained off via the separate or combined sewer systems, and is either channelled to purification plants for treatment or returned directly to the natural water cycle. The treatment of household drainage and municipal and industrial wastewater features among CSD’s standard disciplines.
We plan and implement wastewater treatment plants and offer custom solutions for eliminating micropollutants, increasing performance, improving cost-effectiveness and mitigating the environmental impact in the case of municipal wastewater treatment plants. As we operate purification plants ourselves via our subsidiaries, we have acquired extensive operational experience in this area.
Since the ban imposed on its removal for agricultural use, the disposal of sewage sludge has become a cost-intensive key issue. We already tackled this issue early on and have planned and implemented customised, cost-effective solutions for digesting the sludge by using biogas, reducing volumes and drying.
In the area of household drainage, we are involved across a number of areas relating to drainage systems, using the experience we have. Our activities start with drainage planning and redevelopments, followed by rainwater treatment and hydrodynamic calculations, and end up with construction design and execution.
