Promotion of biodiversity*

Biodiversity* is a fundamental issue. CSD's experts support their public and private clients in a professional approach aimed at defining a strategy and implementing concrete projects in favour of biodiversity.

Coenonympha arcania, a potentially threatened species in Switzerland

Whether on a territorial, municipal, agricultural, neighbourhood or specific project scale, CSD's experts work in collaboration with the project owner or architect to identify the challenges and optimize the biodiversity potential of projects. They support the implementation of the project and can supervise the maintenance services and carry out regular audits to measure progress. They also support the project owner in the search for financial support, communication and public relations.

They can carry out professional inventories and mapping of environments and species. They propose and implement measures to promote or compensate biodiversity: ecological corridors, renaturation of waterways, reforestation, redevelopment of gravel pits or landfills, wetlands, creation/improvement of animal crossings, consultations in ornithology, development of green spaces, hedges, meadows, protection of specific species, management of sensitive areas and fight against invasive species, etc.
