Olga Darazs, President of the Advisory Board

Olga Darazs

During her career in the CSD Group, Olga Darazs has acquired extensive experience in the management and coordination of large-scale projects in the field of environment, especially in the evaluation of contaminated sites. Her training as a hydrogeologist prompted her to specialize in the sustainable management of resources and in the safety of the water supply. Since her appointment in 2011 as president of the board of the CSD Group, her activities have increasingly focused on strategic aspects as well as on the support and representation of organizations and associations. In this context, she holds the following positions:

Chairwoman of the Swiss Water Partnership (www.swisswaterpartnership.ch), a platform that was created by the SDC (Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation) in 2012, reuniting the most important international Swiss actors in the water sector
Member of the Swiss Society of Hydrogeology (www.hydrogeo.ch), an association of scholars, practitioners and officials working in the field of hydrogeology.
Member of the Swiss Academy of Sciences SAS
President of the Federal Geological Commission FGC, an extra-parliamentary Administrative Commission, which advises the Federal Council and the federal departments on fundamental questions of geology.

Michael Fuchs

Head of Water Resources / Hydrometry German-speaking Switzerland

Michael Fuchs has many years of professional experience in the specialist disciplines of water resources, hydrometry, hydrogeology, prevention of water pollution, hydrology and dangerous waste. As a longstanding project manager, he advises cantons, local authorities and institutions on issues involving flood protection, low water, water management, settlement drainage, groundwater usage and protection, as well as extensively in the area of measurement technology in water, ground and subsoil.

Michael Fuchs is a member of the Swiss Society for Hydrogeology.

Martina Schmucki Schubiger, Member of the Advisory Board

Martina Schmucki Schubiger

A graduate in microbiology (UNIZH), MAS in management, technology and economics (ETH), and Master of Environmental Design (University of Calgary), Martina Schmucki Schubiger is responsible for the Environment sector for German-speaking Switzerland. She is mainly active in environmental assessment projects, environmental monitoring of construction works and project management support.

Jean-Pascal Gendre

Jean-Pascal Gendre has been the CEO of CSD ENGINEERS from 2011 to 2023. He previously worked as chief engineer for planning and management of projects in the fields of civil engineering and infrastructure. He dealt in particular with the development, design, planning and management of complex multidisciplinary projects in the fields of civil engineering, tunnels and industrial buildings. He has a broad experience in the management of engineering consortia and in support for contracting authorities as well as in the application of legal provisions in public procurement. Under his leadership, CSD, in 2011 a medium sized company with only 360 employees, has since become one of the leading Swiss engineering companies with over 1000 employees.

Vincent Rebstein is active in the field of noise and vibration projects, environmental impact studies, flood protection and geotechnics. Post-graduate trainings (water, energy, acoustics) enrich his experience acquired at CSD.

Eric Saeuberli, Member of the Advisory Board

Eric Saeuberli

Head of Genève Agency

Eric Saeuberli has acquired extensive experience in the field of environmental impact studies for urbanization projects, expansion of gravel pits, waste treatment and storage facilities, as well as in the field of contaminated site remediation and diagnostics, hydraulic and hydrological studies, and in watershed management.

Reto Troxler, Member of the Advisory Board

Reto Troxler

A civil engineer with a degree in civil engineering and an Executive MBA (HWZ), Reto Troxler is Managing Director of Henauer Gugler SA in Zurich, a CSD Group company with around 60 employees. His main expertise lies in building construction and subsoil engineering, complex project management and BIM management.
